National Agency of Investment and Privatization is subordinate to the Ministry of Economy.

The main aims of the Agency are the following ones: attraction of foreign investments and support in the cooperation establishment between republican bodies of state administration, local executive bodies and investors.

The main objectives of Agency are:

- implementation of state policy in the field of investment and privatization;

- development and implementation of measures to form the investment image of the Republic of Belarus;

- creation and maintenance of a unified information base on investment activities, including a register of investment projects;

- interaction with government bodies and local executive, and administrative bodies, and investors on issues of foreign direct investment.

 

Agency provides the following services:

·                   Provision of information on investment opportunities, preferential treatment and benefits, industries, legislation

·                   Provision of up-to-date information on investment projects

·                   Selection and presentation of information on the options for land and premises

·                   Search for potential partners to implement the investment project, organization of meetings, negotiations with potential partners for establishing cooperation

·                   Providing a platform for negotiations and support for the investor during negotiations

·                   Organization of business visits to the Republic of Belarus  

·                   Post-investment support
