Minister of Economy of Belarus Alexander Chervyakov met with Deputy Prime Minister of the Udmurt Republic Mikhail Khomich
On November 1, 2021, the Minister of Economy of Belarus Alexander Chervyakov met with the Deputy Prime Minister of the Udmurt Republic Mikhail Khomich. The Trade Representative of the Russian Federation in the Republic of Belarus Yuri Zolotarev also took part in the meeting.
The parties discussed promising areas of cooperation: agriculture, scientific researches, tourism. Special attention has been paid to increasing the supply of Belarusian goods to Udmurtia: automotive equipment, tractors, dairy products, cosmetics, etc.
Russian partners have expressed their interest in Belarusian experience of breeding and seed production of potatoes and flax and supported the development of cooperation in this area.
Alexander Chervyakov and Mikhail Khomich stated that bilateral cooperation should be filled by concrete projects involving the business of both countries. An agreement has been reached to organize a visit to Udmurtia in December for a delegation of the National Agency for Investments and Privatization to present the investment potential of Belarus, including the preferential regimes.
