National plan for Green economy development in Belarus

On December 21, 2016, the Council of Ministers adopted the Decree No. 1061, which approved the National Action Plan for the Development of the Green Economy in the Republic of Belarus (hereinafter - the National Plan).

The preparation of this document was carried out in 2016 by the Ministry of Natural Resources, the Ministry of Economy and a number of other authorities as a part of the implementation of the mechanisms and principles of the "green" economy.

The National plan defines the criteria on the basis of which until 2020 there will be carried out assessment of the conformity of economic activity to the principles of the "green" economy.
