Free economic zones
In order to stimulate the creation and development of industries based on new and advanced technologies, to increase exports in Belarus, there are six free economic zones (one in each regional administrative center, including Minsk):

FEZ «Vitebsk» (1999), www.fez-vitebsk.com,

FEZ «Grodnoinvest» (2002), www.grodnoinvest.com.
The special customs, registration and tax regime of the FEZ provides enterprises with the opportunity to work in special favorable conditions (profit tax benefits, real estate, land tax and rent for land, customs preferences, etc.).
