Unfair competition: Results H1 2011

In the 1st half of 2011 by the Pricing Policy Board of  the Ministry of Economy decisions were made on seven allegations of violations of antitrust laws, in respect of the implementation of unfair competition, including the recognition of three events of unfair competition (Article 14.2 of the Law "On counteraction to monopolistic activity and the development of competition "in action:

    * To register the trade name of LLC "RPC" Contact ", the semantic (random) part of which is identical to the sense (arbitrary) of the competitor's brand name -" Research and Production Company "Contact". Issued an order to cease the illegal activity and to eliminate the harmful effects arising from it;

    * Company "Beloptaus" relating to the registration of a trademark (registration certificate № 32 140) on the application of Ltd. «Adiprestizh";

    * UE "Medkonsul" relating to the registration of a trademark (registration certificate № 27 185) on the application of FE "BaltSistem."
