Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD)

The Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) is primarily a forum in which governments of the member states have the opportunity to discuss, develop and improve economic and competition policy. Within its framework they share their experience, seek solutions to common problems and develop coherent domestic and foreign policies, which in the modern world should become a more dense network of supranational common approaches to solving these problems.

The subject of discussions between the governments of the OECD countries is the information and analytical reports received from the OECD Secretariat. Relevant departments of the Secretariat collect data, track trends, analyze and forecast economic development, study the structure of trade relations, etc.

Cooperation with the OECD gives the antimonopoly authority of the Republic of Belarus an opportunity to be informed about the latest changes in the world in the sphere of competition policy, an opportunity to participate in joint projects and to inform the international community about its activities in the field of antimonopoly policy.
